Jeff Andrews
Jeff Andrews has far, far too much history to go into here.
He and Heidi Christenson dated for 22 years - 1992 through 2014. Jeff broke up with her, not the other way around. But he only broke up with her because he was sure she was about to break up with him. It's a pattern with Jeff Andrews - flipping the proverbial chess board in a ragequit doesn't count as losing. Except for this time. Andrews always had a morose streak to him, but without Heidi, he's been in a slow motion downward spiral with no seeming end.
Also, Jeff Andrews co-promoted DEFIANCE wrestling with Eric Dane, Sr. Their (legit) falling out, leading to not just Andrews but everyone with even the most tangental link to him, being blacklisted and unpersoned from DEF, and Dane eventually handing away control of DEF himself a couple years later.
While Andrews was doing his own thing, he tried to start a new wrestling promotion. Andrews*Promotions, based out of Wheeling, West Virginia. It wasn't politics or flaking that killed it, but COVID. Nonetheless, during the year and a half it was open Andrews cast out nets, surrounding himself with a new generation of talent and personalities, people willing to trust in "The last man with integrity left in the entire fucking business." Among these people were The New Untouchables (Jeffrey Daniels and Lee Scott Rothlesberger), and Kirsty McKinney.
No one's sure what changed. For the better part of a decade Andrews refused to acknowledge that Eric Dane existed. But now, for reasons only known to him, and quite possibly not even known to him (Andrews is known for living deep within the impulse zone), he has surfaced in ICW...

| Entrance Description | The opening lines of "Gods and Punks" by Monster Magnet hits, and Jeff Andrews is already moving. No lights, no spectacle—just a brisk, purposeful walk down the ramp in his green-and-yellow mesh trucker’s cap and a ratty black leather jacket hanging open over his bare chest. He doesn’t play to the crowd on the way down; he cuts a straight line to the ring, eyes forward, jaw set. At ringside he shrugs out of the jacket without breaking stride and spikes it to the floor like it’s already disappointed him, then steps through the ropes and into the ring. Inside, Andrews pauses. Just a beat. He takes in the room—the noise, the space, the weight of it—then snaps into motion, charging the ropes once before lunging to the middle strand. He throws his arms wide and roars at the crowd, raw and unadorned, daring them to answer. From the ropes he peels off the cap and drops it into a ringside attendant’s hands without looking, then turns back to his corner. He leans into it, shoulders broad, expression flat and impatient, waiting for the bell like it’s overdue. |
